The Lake of the Ozarks has survived the real estate crisis better than many other areas of the country as far as property values are concerned. The properties here have naturally declined some, but for the most part have held up fairly well compared with many other areas in the country. The Lake of the Ozarks Real Estate values have weathered the storm and this area is shaping up to be a major emerging market when the economy starts moving again.
